The Baraboo Children’s Museum is a popular place not only for families, but for field trips and large gatherings as well!

To receive a group rate, approval must be obtained at least 48 hours prior to the date of entry to ensure proper staffing.

Groups arriving without approval will be required to pay full price for all guests.

Nonprofit Organizations and Field Trips

All field trips must be booked through the form listed below

• Groups of up to 30 children may schedule their field trip on days that the museum is open (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

• Groups of more than 30 children are requried to schedule their field trip on days that the museum is closed (Tuesday and Thursday)

• Admission for school and nonprofit field trips is $4 per student. Minimum of 20 students for discount to be applied. Memberships are not able to be applied for field trips.

• Field trips are booked for a 2 hour time slot on days that we are closed. If more time is needed, additional may be purchased at $50/hour.

• There is a $120 minimum fee for a field trip held on days that the museum is typically closed.

• We require, at minimum, one adult per five children for field trips. A lack of chaperones will result in a $25 charge per missing chaperone. As long as there are the required number of chaperones present, there is no charge for chaperones.

• Field trips booked outside of standard operating hours (9a-5p) will be subject to private museum rental rates.

• We reserve the right to charge for replacements of broken and missing exhibit pieces resulting from lack of supervision or improper use of items during the field trip.

Food/Dining

We do have a room for snacks or lunches that can be used as long as the room is not being used for another activity such as a party or special event. This room can seat approximately 35 people at a time.

We have a refrigerator that can accommodate a limited amount of items and a standard sized microwave to warm items up.
