Our Mission
We're a team of passionate museum volunteers who wish to champion the mission of the Baraboo Children’s Museum. Through grassroots fundraising, event support, and local advocacy, we help secure the resources needed to keep exhibits fresh, programs affordable, and interactive learning accessible to every child in our community.
Areas of Impact
While we are always looking for ways to assist the museum, below are our main focus areas of impact.
Event Support
Event support can look like setting up and taking down event supplies, helping kids at a craft table, sitting at an information booth, and so much more! Events help us stay involved with the community, whether they are on site or at a different location.
Museum Help
Volunteering at the museum is one of the most visual ways to participate with the friends group. Tidying up the space, interacting with kids, and demonstrating how to use the museum exhibits are just a few of the ways to volunteer!

Fundraising
The museum holds two annual fundraisers, but the fundraising doesn’t stop there! Whether it is needed for a big exhibit, an event, or standard operations, fundraising is always part of what we are doing!
